Angela Patricia Janiot es una reconocida periodista colombiana con más de 30 años de experiencia ha trabajado en importantes medios de comunicación fue presentadora y corresponsal sénior en Noticias Univisión desde el 2018 al 2022. En CNN en español, estuvo desde 1992 hasta 2017, siendo un referente de opinión pública en todo el continente.​

Patricia, as she is commonly known, has traveled throughout Latin America to report on important events, including numerous historic elections, summits, regional crises, papal, and presidential tours. She has also covered major world events from the place of their occurrences such as the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York and the London Underground train; the funerals of Pope John Paul II, from the Vatican, among others.

For her humanitarian efforts, in 2012 Patricia was awarded the “Champions of Change” award. This award was given by the White House to Hispanic leaders with great success in the United States, who also carry out work for the development of the communities of their countries of origin.

In 2013, the UN awarded her the “Women together award” in recognition of her career as a journalist on CNN en Español, and her work as president of the Fundación Colombianitos. In Colombia she has obtained recognition from outstanding organizations such as Pro Export, the Woman of the Year, and Women of Success; and in her native Bucaramanga, she received the Manuela Beltrán order of merit.
