PEDAGOGICAL CURRICULUM:

Prevention for the early alcohol consumption Curriculum

Prevention for the early alcohol consumption Curriculum

This curriculum is based on the use of sports and recreational strategies to contribute to the early prevention of alcohol consumption. This was developed with the Corporación Nuevos Rumbos.

The activities carried out in this area seek to increase the perception of the risks of alcohol consumption and therefore operate as a preventive program against its consumption and other psychoactive substances. The sports activities focus on the development of self-care skills, assertiveness, decision-making, management, and problem-solving.

The curriculum was evaluated by the CSF in 2019 and its main results prove that it leads to teenagers reducing the frequency of consumption, increasing the perception of risk, delaying the consumption starting age, and generating responsible patterns in adulthood.

With this curriculum, we have benefited 19.481 children and young adults.
