Colombianitos kicked off in Bucaramanga

The President of Colombianitos, journalist Angela Patricia Janiot from Bucaramanga, attended the inauguration of Colombianitos last Sunday, October 18th, accompanied by local authorities and representatives of such donor organizations as Freskaleche, Raico, Restaurante La Carreta, FIFA in Colombia and the news agency, Vanguardia Liberal.
The Colombianitos’ “Goals for a Better Life” program will bring well-being, personal growth and quality of life to 500 children between the ages of 7 and 18 so that they can dream of becoming established soccer players and, why not, soccer superstars in the future.

Rebuilding the social infrastructure

“The Villas de San Ignacio development in the Bavaria II sector was selected because it is home to children whose families were relocated after the 2005 winter weather made it necessary to rebuild the social infrastructure,” said Harvey Ramírez Forero, coordinator of Colombianitos’ Bucaramanga headquarters.
“In this community of nearly 2,000 residents,” explained the spokesperson of the non-profit organization, “sports and cultural activities will be developed where these children will be able to spend their spare time in healthy activities by taking advantage of the multiple fields that this area located north of the city has.
And it’s because the Colombianitos soccer school teaches them that the most important thing is to take the offensive and develop their full potential so that the best outcome of the game is to succeed in their lives.
