The financial entity joins Coca-Cola, Bavaria, Chevrolet and Movistar among other companies to support Colombia\u2019s national soccer team. The contract will be binding until 2018. The financial corporation Bancolombia informed it became the new official partner of the Colombian Soccer Federation and that it will support the women and men’s teams in their different categories until 2018.
\n“For Bancolombia, being a partner of the Colombian soccer teams is a key element in its objective to contribute to the transformation of society. Football is undoubtedly one of the main catalysts for action in our country, and that is why Bancolombia joins this national cause, “the bank stated.
\nBancolombia’s president, Carlos Ra\u00fal Yepes, assured that the entity\u2019s work will not only focus on the women and men’s federations, but will also contribute with institutes involved in the education and training of participants. It was further indicated that “this commitment begins with the support of 750 children from educational institutions that are part of the ‘Golombiao’ model, 250 from the F\u00fatbol con Coraz\u00f3n Foundation, 250 from the Colombianitos Foundation, 200 from the Carvajal Foundation and 80 from the Colombia Somos Todos Foundation.”
