BANCOLOMBIA, NEW COMMERCIAL ALLY OF THE COLOMBIAN SELECTION

The Colombian Football Federation and Bancolombia announced a new commercial alliance to support as an ally all the Colombian Selections in the different categories and modalities, in women as well as in men. The twelfth commercial signature of the Colombian Football Federation for this new cicle was presented Tuesday with the official bank of the Selection: Bancolombia.
The Colombian Football Federation and Bancolombia announced this Tuesday the new commercial partnership to support, as an ally, all the Colombian Selections in the different categories and modalities, in women as well as in men.
With an event in the auditorium of Bogota Sports Federation headquarters, the directors of the banking firm and the rector of the national football made official the agreement, with the presence of the Seniors’ Feminine Colombian Selection, which is getting ready for the 2015 FIFA World Cup in Canada, and the Colombian U20 Masculine Selection, which is preparing for the New Zealand World Championship.
“Not only we support football and the feminine and masculine seleccions in all of its categories, but also we are going to establish links with training schools and foundations which work to generate participation places and development around sports.”, assured Carlos Raul Yepes, president of Bancolombia.
Moreover, Luis Bedoya, president of the Federation, said: “We have the pleasure to present this new and important player of the Federation’s financial sector, who is linked to the Colombian Selections, as a leading firm in the banking sector and not only in sports but also in social work”.
Also, Bedoya added “During several months we have been giving shape to the relation with Bancolombia and in the way we have met synergy between two brands which unite the Colombians, thus starting from today Bancolombia will be the official bank of the seleccion.”
Therefore, Bancolombia will partner with Homecenter, Adidas, Movistar, and Chevrolet, in the second line of sponsors which also have Aguila and Coca Cola as principle partners and Avianca, Allianz, Golty, Servientrega, and Caracol Television as special allies.
1.500 children will be supported by the Bancolombia Foundation, through the “Futbol para la paz” methodology, which is formed by foundations such as Futbol con Corazon, Colombianitos, Carvajal and Colombia somos todos, the latter is by James Rodriguez.
