In the summer of 2002, Colombianitos came to Ciudad Bolivar hoping to change something in the children’s lives here. One of the poorest, most violent areas of Bogotá, home to thousands of displaced due to the war problems in their native regions, was where our program began.
What started as a summer camp is now a permanent Football League, where more than 630 boys and girls pursue their hopes for a better life.
This turned into an example to follow. Later, this led to implementing this kind of schools around the country.
