Goals
for a Better Life |
| |
Sincelejo |
|
|
• In Sincelejo we began training on an area used
as a garbage dumpster by the community. Nowadays
our field is much better so the children can train
comfortably. See photos
• Around 2000 people together with the local authorities,
who have offered their support to this program,
took part in the inauguration. Groups playing and
singing traditional music from the region were also
invited. See photos
• The program has created the opportunities the
community needs in order to have a good time and
share in a healthy, organized way. See photos
• The young take the most advantage of the formation
workshops they are invited to take part in, once
their problems are identified. See photos
• The parents’ schools are meant to reinforce the
processes carried on with the children. They are
looking to make people aware, to prevent and guide
and thus help them have better relationships inside
their homes. See photos
• The Foundation’s main objective is to improve
the quality of life of the various communities which
are part of the project. That is why the health
brigades are created to offer the support the population
needs. See photos
• Only four months after Goals for a Better Life
initiated, the 3B group which takes part in the
Pre-Juvenile championship, crowned themselves champions
of the Boyaca tournament on August 7th, 2006. See photos
• A lot of alternative activities (Bingo, raffles,
and bazaars) have been organized in order to help
integrate the whole community. Another reason was
to raise funds needed to buy supplies the community
would use for its benefit. See photos
• Aimed at stimulating continuity, the first internal
tournament of Colombianitos was organized thanks
to Mastercard. 20 teams take part in this event,
in various categories, and their main goal is to
put into practice the team work and the fair play
instilled during training. See photos |
