• In June of 2006, Delta Airlines sponsored the Delta-Colombianitos soccer tournament. They have offered each of the 700 children who took part in this competition a t-shirt. See photos

• In January of 2006 the Under-11 boys’ team was created. They will take part in the Alianza Sport tournament in Bogota in the second semester of 2006. Their participation will be sponsored by the CAF. See photos

• On September 5th Colombianitos receives 15,000 USD from MasterCard. The money will be used to build new branches and fix the soccer fields. It will also be used to organize the MasterCard Colombianitos tournament, held at the same time in all 5 cities. The tournament will end sometime in December. See photos

• On Septemebr 6th Colombianitos receives the award for the Increase in the Social Impact from Compartamos con Colombia, which stresses out one more time the effort we are doing in these cities around Colombia. See photos

• In January of 2006 the sponsored children received the supplies for the whole school year. Today, there are 233 sponsored children.

• Since January of 2006, our psychosocial area has been organizing the parents’ schools twice monthly. This is oriented to the families of the sponsored boys and girls, and there are two projects being carried on: “Communication within the Family” and “Smart Sexuality”. In August all 233 families invited took part in these encounters. See photos

• Since May this year, the “Young in Action” program has been organized on a monthly basis. Its goal is to help each of the 116 children taking part in Goals for a Better Life make their life project stronger. See photos

• In 2006 our Foundation has organized two garage sales meant to raise funds for office supplies and redecoration. This was made possible by the volunteers and sponsors. See photos

• Some of our sponsors have got the chance to meet the children on Colombianitos premises. It was the moment to share with the children and to get to know the kind of work we are carrying on in Ciudad Bolivar. See photos

• Johnson and Johnson has joined us this year and donated one day to painting our offices and sharing with the Colombianitos. See photos
